Meet Nzou, is she an elephant or is she a buffalo?

Meet Nzou, is she an elephant or is she a buffalo?

Nzou (the local Zimbabwean Shona word for elephant) has lived with the buffalo since she arrived at the conservancy as a newly orphaned calf more than 40 years ago. She has resisted numerous attempts to move her in with the reserve's elephants, becoming agitated and angry at each attempt.

Today she lives happily, matriarch of her buffalo herd, proving that it takes all kinds to make a family ❤️.
